Across the globe today, together we celebrate “International Tolerance” of one another. Let’s set-aside external differences and come together as brothers and sisters in Christ. God’s Word clearly teaches us to tolerate and be patient with one another.
For starters, Acts 17:26 explains that we (human creation) are made from “one blood” and God determines where we live geographically. This Scripture, if applied to our lives, would eradicate racism instantly! Next, God teaches us against favoritism, i.e., giving respect to some and not to others because of their influence, economic stature, position, or title (read and study Acts 10:34; Deut 1:17; 1 Peter 1:17). Instead, Jesus teaches to apply “The Golden Rule” to our daily lifestyle…do unto others as you would them do unto you (Matthew 7:12).
This is a very simple, yet profound message. As you go through your day, please consider how you interact with others to brighten their day!
